about

Like all folk songs and customs, carols and rituals of the winter season tell us that, through the ages as a global community, we continue to live and dream and hope for the same things.
We cherish family and we celebrate togetherness.

These carols are steeped in the traditions of all those who have sung and danced and reveled before us.
They shimmer with the memories of celebration and wonder as, every winter, even the smallest glimmer of light burns steadily on the shortest day and, without fail, carries us through the darkest hours to a bright new year.

Passed down from our parents and grandparents, our aunts and uncles, our friends and all of those whom we hold most dear, each of these songs holds some of our most precious memories because of who shared them with us.
We are honoured to continue this magical tradition and share them with you.

May love and joy come to you this year and every year.

“And so at this Christmas time, I greet you.
With the prayer that for you, now and forever, the day breaks and the shadows flee away.” (Fra Giovanni, “Letter to a Friend)
