We truly enjoy the musical style of puirt a beul – rhythmic working songs sung in Scots Gaelic and Irish Gaelic.
We love the challenge of trying to sing them (and trying to fit all of the words into the rhythms!) and putting a different spin on the arrangements, while keeping the traditions at the root of our music!

We discovered this particular set of puirt a beul songs from the brilliant Scots Gaelic singer, Julie Fowlis.
